Holy Rosary Summer Camp
The Holy Rosary Summer Camp is entering their 26th season, once again under the direction of Laurel Fulcher. Our camp was started in 1997, by Jim Piccolo & HR Youth Ministry. It has always been a unique summer program where parish teens, under adult direction, were given an opportunity to learn many valuable skills and responsibilities as counselors. They provided all campers attending the camp a big brother/big sister experience, that carried on summer to summer. The first year the camp had 19 campers, since then we have grown to over 100 campers. Our camp is made up of children from Pre school age children to 8th graders from all parishes and schools around Staten Island. We provide many on site activities and events for all ages. Some highlights include our annual talent show, Zumba for kids, pizza making, water balloons, organized team sports, FDNY smoke house, NYP library visits, local bowling trips, SI Go-Carts and much more.There are other activities as well: Youth Ministry, Boy and Girl Scouts and Sports.
